Right to Work in the UK Checks

You may remember that as a result of COVID, the Government put in place an amended process for carrying out right to work in the UK checks, that allowed the employee to send copies of relevant documents to their employer and then show the original documents on a video call.
With effect from 1st October 2022, this amended process has been withdrawn meaning employers must either:
Carry out a manual document check
Appoint an identification service provider (IDSP)
